Identity — Who Am I as a Young Muslim?

Confident identity rooted in faith

Introduction

This week we explore the theme of "Identity — Who Am I as a Young Muslim?": Confident identity rooted in faith. Islam offers guidance for every area of life — through both the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. Read, discuss, and apply this as a family. Renew your intention each time to draw closer to Allah.

This lesson is prepared for students of the ICMG Edmonton Branch Weekend Quran School and their families. Throughout the week, we invite you to read, discuss, and apply this theme together as a family. Each week is designed to help students develop their Islamic character in light of the Quran and Sunnah, and to strengthen the bond between what students learn at weekend school and what they practice at home.

From the Quran
— Quran 49:13

From the Hadith
"Allah does not look at your appearances or wealth, but at your hearts and deeds."
